Christoph Klein MD PhD is Chief of Pediatrics at the Dr. von Haunersches Children's Hospital of the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich. Together with his team he carried out the first successful gene therapy study for children in Germany and identified the genetic basis of several diseases of the immune system. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was awarded several national and international prizes such as the Adalbert-Czerny-Prize by the German Society of Pediatrics, the Glaxo-Smith-Kline Award for Clinical Research and the William Dameshek Prize of the American Society of Hematology. In 2010, he was the first pediatrician receiving the prestigious Gottfried-Wilhelm-Leibniz Prize by the German Research Society. Christoph Klein is member in many scientific societies and coordinates several research consortia.
Andreas Staudacher PhD is a attorney with special focus on administrative, building and architects law. He is owner of an attorney's office in Laupheim, Germany and teaches at the University of Applied Sciences Biberach.
